44 homilies of St John Chrysostom on the Gospel of Matthew in a Serbian recension version based on a translation from Greek into Russian recension. Forms a set with Ms. Hil. 414. The introduction on leaf 1a supplies information about the original translation of the text, i.e. that it was translated from Greek into Russian recension in Moscow in 7032 (i.e. 1524), during the rule of the Duke Vasiliĭ Ivanovich, in the twentieth year of his rule and contemporary to the second year of consecration of Metropolitan Daniil.
